Appointments and inquiries for a local service business
A business needs online appointments, a contact form and a newsletter on its website. The owner wants to manage all three without calling the agency every week.
Public widgets on the business's site, an availability and slot engine behind them, and an owner console for schedules, staff and message templates.
Anonymous public endpoints on the gateway, tenant separation so one deployment serves many businesses, the owner console rendered from a manifest, email and chat notifications with approve and reject buttons, and GDPR self-service for visitors.
The booking rules: opening hours, slot lengths, holds, double-booking prevention.
A cross-platform app with accounts, sync and sharing
An app that works offline on several platforms, but where users expect their data on every device, and expect to be able to share part of it with someone else.
The app itself, a local database, and a thin server component that stores and reconciles the synced records.
Accounts and sessions, sign-in with Google and Apple, the shared data store, group membership and invitations, an entitlement gate for paid features, realtime push so a change on one device reaches the others, and account deletion that reaches into the app's own data.
The app (frontend) and the logic for merging two versions of a record. UniCore handles the server side.
A practice with a client companion app
A professional produces plans for clients, and relies on the client's responses.
An authoring tool for the professional, a document the client receives, and a companion app that tracks progress.
Two user groups in one tenant, consent recorded and enforced server-side, the sync layer reused unchanged from the app case above, scheduled reminders, and the professional's admin console.
The plan model and the authoring experience.
A field-service suite that works without signal
A trade business quotes, dispatches, records time and material on site, and invoices. The app must work without a reliable connection.
An office-side workflow from quote to invoice, and an offline-first app for the field.
The same sync layer again, a public token-based page so the customer can accept a quote without an account, role-scoped access so a field worker sees only their jobs, entitlement gating so modules can be sold separately, and the audit trail the bookkeeping rules require.
The workflow states and the document contents. The compliance rules are yours to define; UniCore enforces and records them.
What we run on it ourselves
Our own products and ideas implemented on UniCore.
Shopfront
Our own pluginThe plugin gives small businesses appointment booking, a configurable contact form and newsletter signup as embeddable widgets. It includes email and social media integration, so shop owners can respond to their customers.
Kylis
Our own appA cross-platform productivity app with a configurable project hierarchy and habit tracking. Its server side is a UniCore plugin: accounts, cross-device sync, sharing with other people, the paid-feature gate and GDPR erasure all come from the platform rather than from the app's own backend.
Become the first named reference
We are looking for a small number of design partners: teams that want to build products on UniCore. In return we offer individually agreed terms, direct access to the developers for quick support and priority on future features.
